Sometimes it’s good to be different!
At most veterinary practices, it is often difficult to see the vet of your choice at every visit. This can add complications to the management of many cases and inhibit the establishment and building of a trusting and productive relationship between the client, the patient and the vet.
Building this type of relationship requires time but is an essential ingredient when it comes to diagnosing obscure or unusual conditions and is of great benefit when managing the treatment and recovery of patients in a coherent and affordable manner. It is also difficult to find the ideal balance between experience and enthusiasm that leads to accurate diagnoses and cost-effective treatment.
To be able to see “your” vet in a welcoming, friendly and comfortable environment was a central aim when Kerry decided to build the hospital.
A focus on small animals and offering continuing attention to her many existing clients in an environment that reflects Kerry’s own high standards and in-depth understanding of patient needs, completed the core ambitions of the project.
We believe we have achieved these goals and take pride in the hospital itself, the calibre of the care offered, and the high-quality services and equipment provided. More than anything, we are proud of the relationships we are building throughout the community. These relationships are founded on trust, dedication, mutual respect and expertise.
Future expansion of the practice will be conducted in a manner that maintains the focus on individual attention to our clients and patients.
Pet owners cover the entire human demographic. The local population is diverse but includes an increasing number of sea changers and retirees. The local region is also a popular tourist/holiday target, particularly for residents of Canberra and Sydney, many of whom share their holiday with the family pets. Our animal hospital has good highway exposure, readily seen by the many families approaching their holiday destination.
